Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County. .Recent rounds of heavy rain will produce flooding on portions of the Iowa River. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Iowa River at Wapello. * WHEN...From late Saturday night to late Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Agricultural land near the river is flooded and water covers most islands. Water starts rising onto secondary roads in Wapello Bottoms. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 20.1 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Sunday morning to a crest of 21.1 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
