Chariton River near Chariton affecting Monroe, Lucas, Appanoose and Wayne Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...The Chariton River near Chariton, or from Wolf Creek to Rathbun Reservoir. * WHEN...Until late this afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 19.8 feet, Water affects 450th St. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 20.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.2 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late this morning. - Flood stage is 19.5 feet.
