Skunk River at Augusta affecting Henry IA, Des Moines and Lee Counties. .Rounds of heavy rain will produce flooding on portions of the Skunk River. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Skunk River at Augusta. * WHEN...From Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water floods some agricultural land near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 7.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 16.6 feet early Saturday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
