...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa... Illinois... Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Scott and Clinton Counties. Pecatonica River at Freeport affecting Stephenson County. Rock River at Moline affecting Henry IL and Rock Island Counties. Rock River near Joslin affecting Henry IL, Rock Island and Whiteside Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S. * WHEN...Until late Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Overbank flooding occurs. Water affects residences along the river between Wheatland and Calamus. Water affects businesses along the river near Calamus. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 12.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Saturday morning and continue falling to 9.1 feet Wednesday, April 29. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
