...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa... Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Clinton and Scott Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Overbank flooding occurs. Water affects residences along the river between Wheatland and Calamus. Water affects businesses along the river near Calamus. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 11.6 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday was 12.3 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall to 11.5 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then rise to 12.0 feet early Saturday morning. It will fall to 11.7 feet Sunday evening then rise again. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. The next statement will be issued by Thursday evening at 915 PM CDT.
