Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Clinton and Scott Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S. * WHEN...Until early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, Major Flood Stage. Water affects old U.S. Highway 61 near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 12.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to remain near a crest of 12.5 feet through Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. The next statement will be issued by Monday evening at 800 PM CDT.
