Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County.
Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Iowa River at Oakville.
* WHEN...From Sunday morning to early Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, River Road is under water and the water is
a few feet up onto the levee.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 10.2 feet.
- Recent activity...The river continues to slowly rise.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Sunday morning to a crest of 11.4 feet Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
