Description:
At 703 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Ridge Farm to near Paris. Movement was east at
30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Terre Haute, Clinton, Rockville, Newport, West Terre Haute, Fairview
Park, Cayuga, Montezuma, Rosedale, Dana, Kingman, Universal, Mecca,
Bloomingdale, Blanford, Shepardsville, Lodi, Turkey Run State Park,
Yeddo, and North Terre Haute.
This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 1 and 5.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
