Description:
At 656 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles northeast of Vermilion Regional Airport
to Oakwood. Movement was east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Covington, Veedersburg, Williamsport, Attica, West Lebanon,
Perrysville, Newtown, State Line City, Foster, Gessie, and Pence.
This includes Interstate 74 between mile markers 1 and 16.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
