Description:
At 512 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Russellville to 8 miles north of Washington.
Movement was northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Vincennes, Bicknell, Odon, Carlisle, Elnora, Oaktown, Bruceville,
Plainville, Sandborn, Edwardsport, Newberry, Crane, and
Freelandville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
southwestern Indiana.
