At 759 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 8 miles north of North Vernon, or 13 miles southeast of Columbus, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... North Vernon, Westport, Millhousen, Letts, Country Squire Lakes, Butlerville, Grammer, and Nebraska.
