Description:
At 725 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Columbus, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Columbus, Westport, Elizabethtown, Jonesville, Millhousen, Azalia,
Letts, Newbern, Country Squire Lakes, Grammer, and Nebraska.
This includes Interstate 65 near mile marker 58.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
