Description:
At 1133 PM EDT/1033 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles south of Washington
to near Haubstadt. Movement was east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Jasper, Paoli, Huntingburg, Ferdinand, Orleans, French Lick,
Orangeville, Holland, West Baden Springs, and Birdseye.
Instruction:
These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM EDT/300 AM
CDT/ for south central Indiana.
