At 623 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near South Whitley, or 9 miles southwest of Columbia City, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Fort Wayne, New Haven, Columbia City, South Whitley, Aboite, Middletown, Roanoke, Zanesville, Larwill, Laud, Yoder, Raber, Arcola, Bippus, Rolling Hills, Lake Everett, Luther, Peabody, Nine Mile, and Dunfee. This includes the following highways... Interstate 469 between mile markers 0 and 30. Interstate 69 in Indiana between mile markers 294 and 316.
