Description:
At 733 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Richmond,
moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Winds gusts up to 35 mph, pea size hail, and frequent
cloud-to-ground lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to
vegetation. Lightning can cause serious injury or death.
Locations impacted include...
Richmond, Eaton, Centerville, Camden, Spring Grove, Boston, Richmond
Municipal Airport, Oklahoma, West Florence, Muttonville, Sugar
Valley, Lake Lakengren, and New Hope.
This includes the following Interstates...
I-70 in Indiana between mile markers 146 and 148, and between mile
markers 155 and 156.
I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 0 and 5.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

shelter under trees when lightning threatens.
