Description:
At 1224 AM EDT/1124 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Santa Claus to 7 miles
west of Stanley. Movement was east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Tell City, Hawesville, Lewisport, Cannelton, Cloverport, Troy,
Frymire, Skillman, Goering, and Pellville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM EDT/300 AM
CDT/ for south central Indiana...and central Kentucky.
