Description:
At 126 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms have produced between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain. The
heaviest rain has ended with light rain lingering. Runoff will
continue to fill streams. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Carrollton, Vevay, Warsaw, Kentucky Speedway, Florence, Patriot,
Pleasant, Glencoe, Fairview, Ghent, Sanders, Sparta, Worthville,
Prestonville, Interstate 71 at Mile Marker 52, Carson, US Route 42
at State Route 184, Markland and Ethridge.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
