Description:
At 1226 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain
across the warned area. Up to 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. The
last wave of heavy rain is moving through with rainfall rates up to
2 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Carrollton, Vevay, Warsaw, Kentucky Speedway, Florence, Patriot,
Pleasant, Glencoe, Fairview, Ghent, Sanders, Sparta, Worthville,
Prestonville, Interstate 71 at Mile Marker 52, Carson, US Route 42
at State Route 184, Markland and Ethridge.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
