...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...
Tippecanoe River near Delphi.
.Recent heavy rainfall, totaling up to 4 inches since Saturday...has
led to minor flooding on Tippecanoe River near Delphi. Flooding is
expected to end later today.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Tippecanoe River near Delphi.
* WHEN...From early this morning to late this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Low agricultural lands, river parks and a
few local roads flood along the Tippecanoe River. Oakdale Public
Access Site flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:45 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 8.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 2:45 AM EDT Wednesday was 8.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.6
feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
this afternoon.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
