...The Flood Warning is extended for the following river and
location in Indiana...
Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.
.Moderate to heavy rainfall today brought a sharp rise on the
Mississinewa near Ridgeville in Randolph County that has led to
minor lowland flooding. The river is cresting in the Ridgeville area
just short of 10.7 feet as of 8 PM EDT. The river is expected to be
quasi-stationary over the next 2-4 hours then slowly fall to below
flood stage overnight.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding along CR 100
W just north of the river. High water affecting a small portion
of River Road just east of SR 1 and north of the river. Water is
within a few feet vertically of the approaches to SR 1 bridge in
western Randolph county.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 10.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 PM EDT Wednesday was 10.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
just after midnight tonight and continue falling and remain
below flood stage.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
