...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...
East Fork White River at Shoals.
...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
East Fork White River at Williams, Bedford, and Rivervale.
White River at Hazleton and Petersburg.
.Minor lowland flooding continues along lower portions of the East
Fork White River and the lower White River. Additional rainfall
through Wednesday could cause additional rises particularly on the
East Fork White. Both rivers have crest but minor flooding could
continue into Friday on lower ends of the East Fork and well into
the weekend on the lower White.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...East Fork White River at Williams.
* WHEN...Until early Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 9.3 feet, State Road 450 near Williams and South
Chase Riffle Road located about 2 miles downstream of Williams
flooded at this level. Flooding of low agricultural land in
Lawrence and Martin counties.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 9.3 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 AM EDT Tuesday was 9.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.4
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage early Friday morning.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

cars through flooded areas.
