...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers and
locations in Indiana...
East Fork White River at Rivervale, Bedford, Seymour, and Williams.
White River at Edwardsport, Petersburg, and Hazleton.
.Multiple rounds of rainfall this past week have brought widespread
minor lowland river flooding to central and southern Indiana. Dry
weather is expected through Tuesday night, followed by light
precipitation Wednesday. The crest on the White River on Monday was
near Hazleton, and on the East Fork White River the crest was just
past Bedford.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...East Fork White River near Bedford.
* WHEN...Until early Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Almost all county roads are impassible in
the East Fork White flood plain. State Road 37/U.S. Highway 50 is
likely the only road open across flood plain in Lawrence County.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM EDT Monday the stage was 23.1 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 AM EDT Monday was 23.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.2
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
early Thursday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
