...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... East Fork White River from Seymour to Williams. White River at Elliston and from Edwardsport to Hazleton. .Multiple rounds of rainfall this week have brought widespread minor lowland river flooding to central and southern Indiana. Additional rainfall Sunday and next week could prolong or worsen ongoing flooding. The crest on the White River was near Petersburg Sunday morning and near Rivervale along the East Fork White River. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Hazleton. * WHEN...Until Tuesday, June 02. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, A flood of this height causes great agricultural damage from June through August. Some river cabin residents evacuate. Most local roads flood. Several oil fields are inaccessible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.2 feet early Tuesday morning.
