White River from Elliston to Hazleton. .Multiple rounds of rainfall this week have brought widespread minor lowland river flooding to central and southern Indiana. Additional rainfall Sunday and next week could prolong or worsen ongoing flooding. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Fork White River near Bedford. * WHEN...Until early Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Almost all county roads are impassible in the East Fork White flood plain. State Road 37/U.S. Highway 50 is likely the only road open across flood plain in Lawrence County. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 20.1 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:00 AM EDT Saturday was 20.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.2 feet this evening.
