...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
East Fork White River at Williams, near Bedford, near Rivervale,
Seymour, Hazleton, and Petersburg.
...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...
White River at Edwardsport, Newberry, and Elliston.
.Multiple rounds of rainfall this week have brought widespread minor
lowland river flooding to central and southern Indiana. Additional
rainfall Sunday and next week could prolong or worsen ongoing
flooding.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...White River at Edwardsport.
* WHEN...Until early Wednesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Water is at critical levels for makeshift
levees. Most of bottomlands flood. Old Vincennes road and State
Road 358 between Plainville and Edwardsport are impassable by
several feet. High water surrounds river cabins. This type of
flood occurs on average about once a year.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 AM EDT Saturday /6:00 AM CDT Saturday/ the stage was
21.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 AM EDT Saturday /6:00 AM CDT Saturday/ was
21.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Wednesday morning and continue falling and remain below
flood stage.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
