...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers and locations in Indiana...Illinois... White River at Elliston, Newberry, Edwardsport, Petersburg, and Hazleton. .Multiple rounds of rainfall this week have brought widespread minor lowland river flooding to central and southern Indiana. Isolated moderate flooding is possible. More rounds of rainfall going into and through the holiday weekend could make the flooding last longer and bring higher crests. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Newberry. * WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Higher bottomlands begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 PM EDT Friday the stage was 16.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 PM EDT Friday was 17.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Sunday morning and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
