...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Driftwood River near Edinburgh.
East Fork White River near Rivervale.
East Fork White River at Seymour.
East Fork White River at Columbus.
Flatrock River near Columbus.
.Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall over the last couple of days with
additional light to moderate rainfall throughout the day today will
bring widespread minor lowland river flooding to central and
southern Indiana. Isolated moderate flooding, particularly at
Seymour on the East Fork White, is expected as well. More rounds of
rainfall going into and through the holiday weekend could make the
flooding last longer and bring higher crests.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Flatrock River near Columbus.
* WHEN...From Thursday morning to Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, On April 6, 2011 after reaching 13 feet...
Noblitt Park...CR 400N and Owens Bend Park remained flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 9.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 11.6 feet tomorrow
evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Friday
morning.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
