White River at Spencer. .Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall over the last couple of days with additional light to moderate rainfall throughout the day today will bring widespread minor lowland river flooding to central and southern Indiana. Isolated moderate flooding is possible. More rounds of rainfall going into and through the holiday weekend could make the flooding last longer and bring higher crests. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Newberry. * WHEN...Until late Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Higher bottomlands begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 15.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:30 AM EDT Wednesday was 15.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.4 feet just after midnight tonight.
