Blue River at Fredericksburg affecting Washington and Harrison Counties. .Heavy rain from last night has caused the river to rise. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Blue River at Fredericksburg. * WHEN...Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Water covers parts of Fredericksburg-Depauw Road near river. At 22.0 feet, Backroads in town flood. Water approaches US 150. At 23.0 feet, US 150 is closed. At 24.0 feet, Water surrounds some homes along backroads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 22.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 AM EDT Tuesday was 22.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 22.2 feet on 04/06/2025. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
