White River at Elliston. .Heavy rainfall through the first half of this past week of generally one and a half to two and a half inches has produced minor flooding on the lower White River. Flooding will continue on parts of the lower White throughout the upcoming week. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...White River at Newberry. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Flooding of a few lowlands begins in Greene County. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 PM EDT Sunday was 13.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this evening and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
