...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... White River at Hazleton, Petersburg, Elliston, Edwardsport, and Newberry. .Rainfall amounts of two to five inches over the last day will continue to bring minor lowland flooding to lower portions of the White River. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Edwardsport. * WHEN...From late tonight to Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Old Vincennes Road and State Road 358 in Daviess County and Schaefer Road in Knox County are impassable. High water affects agricultural bottomlands. During agricultural season this level is of concern to farmers on the unprotected areas along the river. High water affects river cabins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM EDT Wednesday /6:00 PM CDT Wednesday/ the stage was 13.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 18.0 feet Friday evening.
