...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... White River at Hazleton, Petersburg, Elliston, Edwardsport, and Newberry. .Rainfall amounts of two to five inches over the last day will continue to bring minor lowland flooding to lower portions of the White River. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Newberry. * WHEN...From Thursday morning to early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Most lowlands flood. A few inches of water on County Road 600 W just north of the river in Mary Long Cutoff Area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 11.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to a crest of 14.5 feet Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
