Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...
Muscatatuck River near Deputy affecting Jefferson and Scott
Counties.
.Heavy rain from last night will cause the river to rise.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Muscatatuck River near Deputy.
* WHEN...Until this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, County roads are underwater.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:30 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 22.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage to 25.9 feet
this morning. It will then fall below flood stage this
afternoon to 7.5 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will rise
to 8.2 feet early Thursday morning. It will then fall again
and remain below flood stage.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
27.3 feet on 02/16/2025.
