Saint Joseph River Michigan at Three Rivers affecting Branch, St.
Joseph MI and Elkhart Counties.
North Branch Elkhart River at Cosperville affecting Noble County.
For the Tippecanoe River...including Ora, Winamac, Norway Dam...
Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Saint Joseph River Ohio...including Montpelier, Newville,
St. Joe River Ft. Wayne...Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Tiffin River...including Stryker...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Saint Joseph River Michigan...including Three Rivers,
Mottville, Elkhart IN, South Bend, Niles...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...North Branch Elkhart River at Cosperville.
* WHEN...Until early Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 6.0 feet, Water approaches some houses around Skinner
Lake, especially along State Road 8.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:30 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 6.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 2:30 AM EDT Tuesday was 6.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Friday morning and continue falling to 5.6 feet Monday
evening.
- Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
