* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southwestern Johnson County in central Indiana...
Southern Morgan County in central Indiana...
Northern Brown County in south central Indiana...
Northern Monroe County in south central Indiana...
Central Clay County in west central Indiana...
Central Owen County in west central Indiana...
* WHEN...Until 100 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 936 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2.25 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Martinsville, Spencer, Nashville, Ellettsville, Princes
Lakes, Trafalgar, Morgantown, Clay City, Gosport, Paragon,
Center Point, Stinesville, McCormicks Creek State Park,
Unionville, Lake Lemon, Mahalasville, Helmsburg,
Patricksburg, Beanblossom and Bowling Green.

Instruction:
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
In hilly terrain there are low water crossings which are potentially
dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find
an alternate route.
