Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in east central Indiana, Fayette,
Union and Wayne. In southeast Indiana, Franklin.
* WHEN...Until 1100 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 605 PM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5
and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts
up to 0.5 inches are possible.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Richmond, Connersville, Brookville, Liberty, West College
Corner, Glenwood, Lake Santee, Salem, Waterloo, Blooming
Grove, Columbia, Metamora, Bunker Hill, Abington,
Brownsville, Laurel, Milton, Boston, Alquina and Everton.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
