a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Illinois...Wisconsin...
Turtle Creek Near Clinton affecting Rock and Winnebago Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Turtle Creek near Clinton.
* WHEN...From this evening to late Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Smith Road threatened in Tiffany. Portions
of Sweet Allyn Park in Shopiere inundated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 7.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 6.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 9.3 feet tomorrow morning. It
will then fall below flood stage late Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
9.3 feet on 07/22/1982.
