Description: 
At 647 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Denver, or 8 miles south of Carthage, moving east at 35 mph. Second very severe thunderstorm will merge with the tornadic storm around 7 PM. This may greatly increase the chances of a tornado occuring in that merger over south central Hancock County. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near... Augusta, Bowen, Denver, and Bentley around 650 PM CDT. Plymouth and Hancock County Fairgrounds around 655 PM CDT.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris. If a tornado or other severe weather is spotted, report it to the National Weather Service or your local nearest law enforcement agency who will send your report. This act may save lives of others in the path of dangerous weather.
