Description:
At 1122 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Minier, or 15 miles southeast of Morton, moving north at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Normal, Eureka, Washington, Mackinaw, Hudson, Atlanta, Minier,
Danvers, Hopedale, Goodfield, McLean, Deer Creek, Stanford, Carlock,
Congerville, Armington, and Kappa.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 155 between mile markers 13 and 14.
Interstate 39 between mile markers 3 and 12.
Interstate 55 between mile markers 140 and 145, and between mile
markers 162 and 163.
Interstate 74 between mile markers 105 and 128.
