At 657 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Reno, or 7 miles west of Greenville, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Sorento, Old Ripley, Reno, Donnellson, Coffeen, Greenville, Woburn, Smithboro, Chapman, Pleasant Mound, Mulberry Grove, Van Burensburg and Fillmore. This includes Interstate 70 in Illinois between exits 41 and 52.
