Description:
At 956 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles southeast of Russellville to Vincennes to near
Lancaster, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 950 PM, 50 to 55 mph wind gusts were
reported from Bridgeport to the Lawrenceville airport.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Birds,
Billett, Pinkstaff, Red Hills State Park, and Mount Carmel Airport.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for southeastern
Illinois.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
