* Until 515 PM CDT.
* At 420 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Barry, or 14
miles northwest of Pittsfield, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Kinderhook, New Canton, Barry, El Dara, Kingston, Beverly, Baylis,
New Salem, Fishhook, Buckhorn, Griggsville, Perry, Valley City,
Mount Sterling, Chambersburg, Versailles, Coopertown, Ripley and La
Grange.

This includes Interstate 72 between exits 20 and 35.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for a portion of
west central Illinois.
