* At 553 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Elkville, or
near Du Quoin, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. This storm has a history of
producing hail up to golf ball size.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

West Frankfort, Benton, Christopher, Rend Lake Area, Zeigler,
Royalton, Elkville, Valier, West City, North City, Buckner, Dowell,
