Douglas County in east central Illinois...
* Until 1030 PM CDT.
* At 945 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Monticello to near Dalton City, moving east at
55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 933 PM, a 58 mph wind gust was
reported at the Decatur Airport.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Bement, Bethany, Lovington, Dalton City, Hammond, and Ivesdale
around 950 PM CDT.
Savoy, Tolono, Atwood, Sadorus, and Willard Airport around 955 PM
CDT.
Arthur, Philo, and Pesotum around 1000 PM CDT.
Tuscola and Sidney around 1005 PM CDT.
Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Villa Grove, Arcola, Homer, Camargo and Broadlands.
This includes Interstate 57 between mile markers 202 and 230.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for central and
east central Illinois.
