Description: 
At 734 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Elmira to near Brimfield to near London Mills to near Industry, moving east at 45 mph. The strongest portion of the line of storms will be moving across southern Fulton County. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. These severe storms will be near... Farmington, Yates City, Vermont, Fairview, and Ipava around 740 PM CDT. Cuba around 745 PM CDT. Canton and Lewistown around 750 PM CDT. St. David around 755 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Bryant, Norris, Liverpool, Bernadotte, Ellisville, Gilson, Dunfermline, Duncan Mills, Smithfield, and Marietta. This includes Interstate 74 between mile markers 42 and 67.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for central and west central Illinois. Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread significant wind damage. It is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant property damage.
