SVRLSX The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northern Adams County in west central Illinois... * Until 745 PM CDT. * At 653 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 8 miles northeast of Mendon to over Maywood, or along a line from 17 miles north of Quincy Regional Airport to 10 miles west of Quincy, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Ursa, Loraine, Mendon, Woodville, Quincy, Fowler, Chatton, Coatsburg, La Prairie, Paloma, Golden, Camp Point, Columbus, Quincy Regional Airport, Clayton and Kellerville. This includes Interstate 172 between exits 14 and 19.
Instruction: 
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing widespread damaging winds and large hail. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT Friday for a portion of west central Illinois.
