Description:
At 449 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles west of Beardstown to near Literberry, moving
north at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Emergency management.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Beardstown, Rushville, Virginia, and Bluff Springs around 455 PM
CDT.
Browning around 500 PM CDT.
Chandlerville around 505 PM CDT.
Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Frederick, Bluff City, Lynnville, Jacksonville Municipal Airport,
Concord, Ray, Snicarte, Ripley, and Philadelphia.
This includes Interstate 72 between mile markers 59 and 65.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for central and
west central Illinois.
