Description: 
At 459 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Atlas, or 6 miles east of Louisiana, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include... Louisiana, Pike, Clarksville, Atlas, El Dara, Pleasant Hill, Martinsburg, Nebo, Independence, Pittsfield, New Salem, Time, Pearl, Milton, Detroit, Griggsville, Bedford, Montezuma, Florence and Valley City. This includes Interstate 72 between exits 31 and 35.
Instruction: 
Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
