Central Lewis County in northeastern Missouri... * Until 630 PM CDT. * At 538 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Lewistown, or 15 miles west of Canton, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornado will be near... Lewistown and Ewing around 540 PM CDT. Canton around 555 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by the tornado include Monticello and Meyer.
