* WHERE...Mississippi River at Gregory Landing.
* WHEN...Until Wednesday, April 29.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, water affects buildings in unprotected low
areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday, the stage was 16.0 feet.
- The river remains in a broad, long crest.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fluctuate around 16.0
feet through the weekend and fall below flood stage by the
middle of next week.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
